Concentra DOT policy and procedures

In addition to our full suite of preventive and treatment services, Concentra helps employers develop written drug and alcohol policies adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Concentra can customize DOT policies to meet the specific needs of companies' DOT drug testing needs and procedures. In addition to employees covered under DOT regulations, all employers working with the Department of Transportation, U.S. Pipeline Industry, U.S. Coast Guard, Federal Transit, Research and Special Projects, Federal Aviation, and Federal Railroad Administrations are required to have a written drug and alcohol policy in place. This includes employees in positions such as public transportation drivers (e.g., bus drivers), shuttle services, hotel shuttle services, truck driver schools, warehouse distribution centers (e.g., truck drivers), railroad conductors, and heavy equipment operator as well as other roles in the airline, transportation, and associated industries. Benefits of DOT testing with Concentra Concentra strives to maintain the highest standards in the collection process. All DOT testing is conducted in full compliance with DOT regulations. Concentra's DOT testing and DOT physical programs help employers coordinate the scheduling of required periodic monitoring for employees in accordance with the appropriate regulatory agency (DOT, ADA, FAA, OSHA, etc). DOT exams keep employers in compliance and ensure that their employees meet the requirements to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
